A feasible project must meet these four criteria

Are you planning a complex and long-term project for your entire team? Or perhaps just a short-term project focused on personal development? Regardless of the scope, your planned project should meet four basic criteria. These can be summarised as the four "P’s", without which your project may fail, or you may lose the motivation to complete it.

Purpose

As Forbes states, the first step is to define your purpose. You must be clear about why you want to achieve your project goals and the main reason for embarking on the project in the first place. Always define your goals in measurable terms. Failure to articulate the ultimate purpose may risk your losing sight of the goal during the process.

Passion

Do you have enough motivation to keep working on the project? Will the work bore you and, if so, do you have strategies to stay motivated? Find something in the project to enjoy and keep you moving forward. Otherwise, the work will become very difficult.

Practice

Is the project practically achievable? If so, what specific steps and routines must be followed to move closer to your set goals? Remember to define concrete and incremental steps that will guide you towards your project objectives.

Proficiency

The scope of the project and the fulfilment of tasks must fall within your area of competence. For team projects, this means the competence of your team; for personal projects, your own. Ensure you have the skills, knowledge, experience, and necessary tools to achieve your goals.
